Welcome to göld BETA
#göldForAll
göld is non-commercial and free forever,
beta phase with high start amount and rewards starts today
göld is a kind of GAME for exchanging and growing digital göld amounts. göld works peer-to-peer, even offline! Because göld is serverless, data is only stored on your own device, not on any server. göld is NOT a cryptocurrency! It might be illegal to use göld for finanical transactions or to trade or exchange it with real money or assets.
'¡Viva la libertad, carajo!'
Well, actually we would like to be on Google Play and Apple App Store, but...
Google Play and Apple App Store require identities and a bank account to ensure accountability, security, and compliance with legal and platform policies. And we generally agree that this is a good idea to reduce the risk of malicious actors publishing harmful apps that do not adhere to laws, tax regulations, and content restrictions.
However, because of personal security concerns, and because there are too many strange people around, we prefer that you call us Don Javier Nakamoto and trust our app.
We perfectly know that the göld app is NOT harmful. Rest assured that it does NOT contain any malware, scam, or illegal content. If used as a GAME, it should adhere to local and international law. Because it is SERVERLESS, it does not store any data on any central server. And since göld is non-commercial and completely FREE to use, there should be no tax implications (and for us no reason to have a bank account).
To keep a long story short: We are Don Javier Nakamoto. You either trust us and install our brilliant göld app from this website, or go and find some other apps that you can install from a proper app store.
In most cases it's sufficient to download the APK file from this website. Follow the dialog to check the app and install it. During this process, you must ensure that you have enabled installation from unknown sources in your device's settings.
Currently, there is a Adroid app that you can download from this website. If we find a way to distribute it, there will also be an iOS app.
We must differenciate between two versions: the version of the app code, and the version of the göld that is exchanged. The app code needs to be updated from time to time. You can check your app version at the bottom of your göld Home screen. The app will inform you if you need to update. Or check this website twice a year for getting the app version with the latest tasks.
Important: NEVER uninstall the göld app before installing the new version. Simply install the new version 'over' the old version to keep your current amount of göld.
In case of doubt, send you göld amount to someone else before updating, and then ask to get it back ;D
The secret behind göld is a so-called 'cryptostring'. This cryptostring is used to create the security part whenever göld is exchanged. You can clearly see the security part when you send or receive göld. Due to some very advanced algorithms and app functions it is impossible to hack the security part. So the göld you exchange is secure!
We know that some countries, states, and organizations get nervous when cryptography is involved. But everyone can be relaxed. göld only uses some typical cryptography like encryption of data and creating digital signatures (the same that is used for making any 'https 'connection happen) -- but only for securing the amount of göld that is transmitted. In no case, cryptography or signatures are used to encrypt personal or any other confidential data.
Let's give you an example of how göld works: If you want to send an amount of 5.00 ö to a phone number +54321012345, a digital signature will create a security code that is part of your göld code. It might look like this: #DJNfoXCebPyC1V27==
The recipient receiving and checking this code can verify that the amount of 5.00 ö, and the phone number, and the security code, fit to each other. If anything is altered, the transaction will not be allowed.
To keep a long story short: Yes, cryptography is involved and must be involved, but it is only used for verifying the visible pieces of information in the göld codes you send or recieve.
The 'AKS' transaction is the easiest way to exchange göld. If you are standing next to another person with a göld app, only TWO MUTUAL QR SCANS are required. Instead of QR scanning, you can also send text (or TXT) codes, for example via WhatsApp.
If we look a little closer, there are 3 steps involved.
- The göld user who ASKs for göld, starts the transaction by creating and presenting a göld code, either as a QR code or as a TXT code.
- The göld user who is supposed to SPEND the göld amount, scans this QR code or enters the received TXT code. After checking the code, a reply code is automatically generated, again, either as a QR or as a TXT code.
- Now the göld user who initially started the ASK transaction must scan or enter the reply code to finally GET the amount.
Interested in more detail? This is the complete story:
At the bottom line, two göld codes need to be exchanged for a full SPEND/ANNOUNCE transaction
EXAMPLE: Let's assume two göld users stand next to each other and want to use QR codes for an AKS transaction:
(Fun fact: QR transactions have been successfully tested during the Iberian Peninsula Blackout 2025. Because göld is serverless, no power, no server, no internet, no WiFi was needed to complete a transaction between two mobile phones that were completlely offline !)
- USER1: Click 'ASK' on Home screen if you want to get a certain göld amount from someone else
- USER1: Enter amount (max. amount is limited for new göld users, but grows over time)
- USER1: Enter short subject (special characters and blank space are not allowed, the app will guide you)
- USER1: Click on the QR icon to create a QR code on the screen of your device
(spoiler: the other user, USER2, will have to scan this code in the next steps) - USER2: The other göld user who wants to spend the amount clicks on 'SPEND', on Home screen.
- USER2: Click the QR icon to launch the QR code scanner
- USER2: Scan the QR code that is shown on the the screen of USER1 (the one who started the transaction)
- USER2: If scanning was successful, a reply QR code is automatically created on the screen of USER2
- USER1: Seeing that scanning at USER2 was successful, USER1 to click on button to launch own QR scanner
(alternatively, click on 'GET' on Home screen and launch QR scanner from there) - USER1: Scan reply QR code shown on the screen of USER2
- USER1: ASK transaction is completed
If you are in the middle of an ongoing transaction (e.g., someone started a 'ASK' transaction), click on 'SPEND' to either launch your QR scanner or enter the TXT code as follows: (If you are NOT in the middle of an ongoing transaction and want to ANNOUNCE and kick off a completely new SPEND transaction, see the explanation below.)
If you want to 'SPEND' a göld amount, you can do this in 3 steps.
- The göld user who ASKs for göld, has started the transaction by creating and presenting a göld code to you, either as a QR code or as a TXT code.
- Now can SPEND the göld amount by scanning this presented QR code or entering the received TXT code. After checking the code, your app will automatically generate a reply code that is either presented as a QR or as a TXT code.
- Now the göld user who initially started the ASK transaction must scan or enter your reply code to finally GET the amount.
At the bottom line, two göld codes need to be exchanged for a full SPEND/ANNOUNCE transaction
EXAMPLE: Let's assume you are standing next to another göld user who kicked off an 'ASK' transaction, presented a QR code to you, and now wants you to SPEND the göld amount:
(Fun fact: QR transactions have been successfully tested during the Iberian Peninsula Blackout 2025. Because göld is serverless, no power, no server, no internet, no WiFi was needed to complete a transaction between two mobile phones that were completlely offline !)
- USER1: Clicked 'ASK' on Home screen, asking to get a certain göld amount from you
- USER1: Entered the amount (max. amount was limited for new göld users, but is growing over time)
- USER1: Entered a short subject (special characters and blank space are not allowed, follow the app's guidance)
- USER1: The user who kicked off the 'ASK' transaction presents you a QR code to you (on the screen of the user's device)
- USER2: You are the user who agrees to spend the göld amount. For doing this you click 'SPEND' on the Home screen of your göld app.
- USER2: Click the QR icon to launch your QR code scanner
- USER2: Scan the QR code that is shown to you by USER1
- USER2: If scanning was successful, a reply QR code is automatically created, appearing on your screen
- USER1: After noticing that that your scanning was successful, USER1 launches own QR scanner
(alternatively, USER1 clicks on 'GET' on Home screen to launch QR scanner from there) - USER1: Scans reply QR code shown on your screen
- USER1: ASK transaction is completed

If you are NOT in the middle of an ongoing transaction, but instead want to kick off a completely new SPEND transaction, follow these steps:
- Click on 'SPEND' on the Home screen, scoll down, and ANNOUNCE a new transaction
- Enter the amount you want to spend, and a short subject
Note 1: Start with small amounts, Over time, the amount you can spend gets higher.
Note 2: The subject will NOT allow blank spaces and several special characters - After entering both amount and subject, a göld code is created that you send or present to the other göld user who is supposed to GET the göld amount
- The other göld user clicks on 'GET' to acknowledge that this transaction has been initiated. A return code is generated that can be presented or sent to the göld user who wants to SPEND the göld amount.
- The göld user who has initiated the transaction and wants to SPEND the amount receives or scans the return code generated. In turn a final code is generated that can be presented or sent to the göld user who GETs the göld amount
- The göld user who finally GETs the göld amount enters or scans the final code to complete the transaction
At the bottom line, three göld codes need to be exchanged for a full SPEND/ANNOUNCE transaction (i.e., one code more than for an ASK transaction).
If you are in the middle of an ongoing transaction (e.g., someone started a 'SPEND' transaction, or you started an 'ASK' transaction), click on 'GET' make the last step and receive the göld amount. Do this by either launching your QR scanner or entering the TXT code.
EXAMPLE: Let's assume you are standing next to another göld user and you have previously kicked off an 'ASK' transaction. You have presented a QR code, the other person has scanned it. After doing this, the other person presents another QR code to you. Now it is your turn to scan this reply code in order to get the göld amount:
(Fun fact: QR transactions have been successfully tested during the Iberian Peninsula Blackout 2025. Because göld is serverless, no power, no server, no internet, no WiFi was needed to complete a transaction between two mobile phones that were completlely offline !)
Referral Codes are great to make people aware of göld and give them an amount of göld for free (that you as the issuer of the Referral Code don't have to spend).
A great option if you have many followers or friends! If you qualify, create a 'Referral Code' and share it. A Referral Code looks like the other göld codes, but starts with ++LetsGo_göld_
Your followers and friends can enter this code by clicking on 'GET' on the Home screen, and selecting the 'PASTE TXT CODE' option. (They cannot QR-scan anything, because there is currently no option for QR Referral Codes.)
After validating the code, a return code is generated that should be sent back to the issuer of the Referral Code. If enough return codes are sent back and entered (by clicking on 'GET'), the issuer of the Referral Code also gets a reward. A return code starts with ++Thanks_göld_
Referral Codes are TXT codes only, not QR codes.
Fun fact: The Referral Code is the only code that you can send to multiple people.
Referral codes are only valid for a limited period of time.
Tasks are challenges in this GAME that allow you to grow your göld amount. Your first task, for example, is to send exactly 1.00 ö göld to a friend. If the friend accepts and gets the amount, you will get a reward, higher than the amount you spent.
Check your app for your next tasks !
All started transactions are logged. Click on 'Transactions' on the Home screen, select an unfinished transaction, and bring up the QR code that the other party must scan in order to complete the transaction.
If a QR scanner does not automatically launch during the process, click on 'SPEND' or 'GET' to launch the scanner manually (depending on the type of transaction).
If you are not using QR codes but TXT codes, transactions are slower. But the same principle applies. Go also to transactions to resend a TXT code if it got lost.
Very easy: 'ASK' is initiated by the person who wants to receive a göld amount, while 'SPEND' is initiated by the person who wants to spend the göld amount.
The 'ASK' transaction consists of TWO göld codes that must be mutually scanned or exchanged.
The 'SPEND' transaction consists of THREE göld codes.
So, if you are in a hurry, use the 'ASK' option.
'ASK' is used to kick off a completely new transaction, by the göld user who eventually wants to GET a certain göld amount.
'GET' is used during an ongoing transaction, either for launching the QR scanner and scanning a QR code presented, or for entering a TXT code received.
There are two reasons for clicking on SPEND:
- During an ongoing transaction (e.g., an ASK transaction started by another göld user) the QR scanner can be launched (or a TXT code received can be entered)
- Kick off a completely new SPEND transaction, by clicking on 'ANNOUNCE'. This will create a code that you send or present to the other göld user who is supposed to GET the göld amount.
TXT is a very nice way to exchange göld with some other user who is NOT standing next to you. You can use any traditional channel for exchanging text information, like email or messengers. Please make sure that you quickly react on an incoming TXT code because it is only valid for a certain period of time (often 24 hours).
QR is used for göld users standing next to each other. While one user creates a code that is shown on the own mobile screen, the other user launches the göld app's QR scanner to read it. Because a complete transaction consists of multiple steps, the one who scanned a code will often have to present the reply code. Consequently, the göld user who presented a QR code in the first place will have to launch the own QR scanner to scan the reply code. Sounds complicated, but is fun. Give it a try! And don't forget that göld is a game.
By the way, both codes are basically identical! Because some people think that a QR code must contain a URL, we added our domain name in front of the TXT code. But apart from that, it is the same code.
Simply ask the X community.
None of this is true. göld has no central server and no central organization. Apart from that, göld is free, so that there are no financial transactions involved. For a start, let's assume that göld has been developed in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. Or was it in the Indian Ocean, on our way from Mauritius to Perth? Or on Mars? Probably, we will never know.
In fact, göld has a lot to do with the Austrian School of Economics !
The native name of Austria is 'Österreich'. We took the beautiful umlaut ö with the two, smiling dots on it, as an homage to the Austrian School of Economics, being in favour of peer-to-peer transactions and the lack of central control. With göld, we have realized all of this as a GAME, for simulating their ideas. Not for real, of course !
Because göld is a GAME, there are rules, and a purpose of the GAME. The main purpose is to socially interact with other users by exchanging göld amounts. Another purpose is to grow your göld amounts by GETing amounts or successfully completing TASKs.
The moment you decide to use göld is the moment you WIN. You win because using a serverless peer-to-peer GAME will make you independent and free. And independence and freedom are only other words for WINNING!
Because göld is completely FREE forever, there is nothing to lose.
